Internships

To be eligible for an internship you must be a full-time student in your third or fourth year of study for BBA students. MBA students will have completed at least one semester. The duration of an internship is 1 semester. The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 for BBA and 3.5 for MBA students.

Course Credits:

You may be eligible to obtain 6-18 credits for eligible and approved internships during the spring and fall semester. Core classes and language classes are ineligible to be exchanged for credits. For elective credits, you may exchange 1-18 elective credits and for specialization credits, you may exchange 3-6 credits per semester. During summer and winter semesters, you may exchange 6 elective credits or 3 specialization credits. Your internship enrollment should mirror the academic semester.

Examples:
30 hours = 1 credit

For example: if you apply for 6 credits, your internship hours should be at least 180 hours.

For example: if you apply for an 18 credit internship in the fall semester, you should expect to work a minimum of 9 hours Monday – Friday for a total of 540 hours. Your internship period would be from September 1st - November 16th approximately.

Instructions:
Before you start your internship, you are required to fill out and submit Form 1 and Form 2 (Click Step 1 Below).

Once you finish your internship, you are required to complete the remaining Forms 3 - 7 provided and submit to CDC (Click Step 2 Below).

In Form 1 under Course Name, write as follows:
For example: Audi Internship
Course Name Field: Audi Internship Course

Scholarship Requirements:
Please note: in order to be eligible for a scholarship, you must complete a minimum of 15 credits each semester. For more information, please contact the Finance Department on the 5th floor.
